Return Type

From ISV Support Wiki

Return types include any of the following data formats:

• Number (integer)
• Number with Decimals (by default, two decimal places)
• Currency
• Date, Time or Date/Time
• Text (string)
• Boolean

In Formula Fields, the return type defines the data format of the resulting Expression.
